BancorpSouth Bank Announces Increase in Quarterly Dividend to $0.17 per Common Share

TUPELO, Miss., July 25, 2018

TUPELO, Miss., July 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- At its meeting today, the Board of Directors of BancorpSouth Bank (NYSE:BXS) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.17 per common share, which represents an increase of $0.03 per common share, or 21.4 percent, compared to its most recent dividend paid on July 2, 2018. The dividend is payable Oct. 1, 2018, to shareholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 14, 2018.

BancorpSouth earlier reported record financial results for the second quarter of 2018. Net income was $54.0 million, or $0.55 per diluted share, and net operating income – excluding MSR – was $55.6 million, or $0.56 per diluted share.
