TORONTO, Sept. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
(TSXV: GMN) GobiMin Inc. (the “Company” or “GobiMin”) is pleased to announce the engagement of General Research Institute for
Nonferrous Metals (the “Research Institute”), an independent research institute in China, to conduct an industrial test on the gold
processing methodology of the Sawayaerdun Gold Project.
GobiMin has engaged the Research Institute to perform laboratory test on possibility of application of bio-tech
methodology on extraction of metals from gold ores and the lab-test results were positive. Under the proposed engagement, the
Research Institute will conduct an industrial test on the gold processing methodology of the Sawayaerdun Gold Project on site by
applying large scale samples to conduct a biological pre-oxidation - immersion gold test and will take about twelve months to
prepare a test report to the Company.
Subject to a satisfactory on-site test results, GobiMin will consider the feasibility on large-scale production
of the Sawayaerdun Gold Project with the biological pre-oxidation - immersion gold technique, and formulate the corresponding
development scheme which would substantially reduce the production costs of the Gold Project.
Further press release on the progress of the testing would be made once initial results are available, hopefully
by early next year.
