CACI International Inc (NYSE: CACI) announced today that Anne Neuberger, Senior Advisor to the Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) and co-lead for the joint NSA/U.S. Cyber Command (USCC) Election Security Small Group; and Lieutenant General David D. Thompson, Vice Commander, Air Force Space Command, are confirmed as keynote speakers for the eleventh symposium in the Asymmetric Threat Symposium series on national security challenges. The symposium, titled “Solutions and Innovations for Defeating Asymmetric Threats,” will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Valo Park in McLean, Virginia.

Neuberger serves as the NSA lead for the joint NSA/USCC Election Security Small Group, an effort established by the director of the NSA to counter potential foreign interference in the 2018 mid-term elections. She previously served as the Assistant Deputy Director of the NSA’s Operations Directorate, leading the agency’s foreign intelligence, cyber security, and information assurance operations. Lieutenant General Thompson is responsible to the commander of Air Force Space Command for carrying out Air Force space missions and integrating space policy, guidance, coordination, and synchronization of space-related activities, as well as issue resolution for Air Force Space Command and the Department of the Air Force.

The symposium is co-sponsored with the Center for Security Policy (CSP), the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), and the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies, an affiliate of the Air Force Association.
