TORONTO, Oct. 16, 2018 /CNW/ - Pure Global Cannabis Inc.
(TSX.V:PURE; OTC: PRCNF; FRA:1QS) (the "Company" or "Pure Global" or "PURE"), through its wholly owned
subsidiary PureSinse Inc. ("PureSinse"), is pleased to announce the acquisition of state-of-the-art extraction and
purification equipment for the manufacturing of concentrated, purified cannabis distillates, extracts, and oils, as well as
robotic packaging equipment for high speed filling of capsules, bottles, vials, vape pens, and other products.
This GMP-compliant equipment will enable rapid manufacture of high-quality cannabis oil and oil-based products which will help
supply the growing national and global demand for cannabis concentrates. The extraction equipment employs a closed-loop system to
yield purified oil at high throughput rates. The robotic packaging equipment can fill numerous vessels at a very high rate with
accuracy, at a capacity of 1,500 30mL bottles or 3,000 capsules per hour, and can also fill vape pen cartridges. The equipment is
estimated to be delivered, installed, and engaged in full production within the next 60 to 90 days, producing cannabis products
for sale into medical and adult legal, or recreational, markets.
The CO2 extraction method is considered the safest and most environmentally conscious method of extraction.
PureSinse's Extraction Lead, who possesses a Master's in Chemical Engineering, explains: "Our supercritical CO2 system
is non-flammable, non-explosive, and is readily evaporated into gas, making our production procedures safer and more
efficient. This ensures that our consumers are getting the highest-quality products produced in environmentally sustainable
ways."
The closed-loop CO2 recycling system does not generate carbon emissions, making it an environmentally friendly mode
of production. The expandable footprint in the acquired equipment lends to shorter processing times, hardware redundancy,
scalability, and flexible material volume processing. The equipment uses tunable solvents, which allow multiple varieties of the
end product to be produced.
"It is exciting to be able to produce GMP-compliant oils, capsules, and vape pens within the next few months, but this is only
the beginning for us," says Malay Panchal, President and CEO of Pure Global. "Soon, we will be manufacturing – at scale – a wide
range of uniquely formulated, premium quality CBD- and THC-based cannabis products, for the medical, wellness, HABA, and food and
beverage segments, ready for national and international distribution."
