ENGLOBAL ANNOUNCES RECENT PROJECT AWARDS

ENGC

HOUSTON, TX, Oct. 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ENGlobal (NASDAQ: ENG), a leading provider of engineering and automation services, today announced receiving four projects totaling approximately $5 million. The scopes of work that the Company will be performing are summarized below:

  1. ENGlobal has been awarded an engineering, procurement and on-site services contract to assist an idled oil refinery and terminal operator with refurbishing their regulatory and process analytical systems. This effort has been strategically planned to expedite startup of these facilities while supporting plant safety, environmental compliance, and product quality.

  2. A leading midstream operator has commissioned the Company to engineer and design a new booster compressor station that will utilize primarily shop fabricated modules - which significantly reduces the field construction effort. Some of the benefits to be expected by employing a modular project execution strategy are a lower installed cost, expedited schedule, improved quality, as well as a safer working environment.

  3. ENGlobal Government Services (EGS) has been awarded a contract to replace obsolete automated tank gauging and independent alarm systems at Department of Defense fuels facilities. In addition to its systems engineering and management support scope, EGS will be responsible for providing tank fuel accountability and operational data for control systems at each location.

  4. A leading industrial gas Company has commissioned ENGlobal to fabricate, integrate and test two electrical power distribution buildings. Each modular building will house a variety of low and medium voltage electrical switchgear apparatus including variable frequency drives. The completed systems will be positioned within plants located along the Gulf Coast and control power to loads within those facilities.

“These recent awards are excellent examples of success we are seeing from ENGlobal’s vertically integrated business. Our substantial expertise - engineering, fabrication, automation and modular integration - will be utilized to deliver these jobs,” stated William A. Coskey, P.E., CEO of ENGlobal. “We thank each of our clients for their long standing confidence in our abilities and greatly look forward to working closely with each of them toward a successfully executed project.”
