On November 8, 2018, California's deadliest wildfire (the "Camp
Fire") erupted near a PG&E power line during a windstorm. The Camp Fire killed dozens of people, displaced thousands of
people, and destroyed thousands of homes and other buildings.
On November 28, 2018, the financial press reported that PG&E decided against shutting power
off six hours after the Camp Fire began and that one of the Company's high-voltage transmission lines in the area malfunctioned
18 minutes before the fire started.
Since November 8, 2018, the price of PG&E shares has plunged $20.97, or about 44% to close at $26.97 on November 27,
2018.
"We're focused on whether certain PG&E directors and senior officers knew or should have known of problems with the
Company's power delivery infrastructure and on substantial damages suffered by all PG&E stakeholders," said Hagens Berman partner Reed Kathrein.
Whistleblowers: Persons with non-public information regarding PG&E should consider their options to help in
the investigation or take advantage of the SEC Whistleblower program. Under the new program, whistleblowers who provide
original information may receive rewards totaling up to 30 percent of any successful recovery made by the SEC. For more
