First Financial Northwest, Inc. Announces Federal Government Shutdown Assistance

RENTON, Wash., Jan. 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Financial Northwest, Inc. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ GS: FFNW), the holding company for First Financial Northwest Bank (the “Bank”) today announced that the Bank is committed to helping its customers that have been affected by the shutdown. Bank customers who are current federal employees who have been furloughed may be eligible for help with payments on existing loans or may qualify for temporary relief loans in an amount up to twice their net monthly pay direct deposited to a First Financial Northwest Bank checking account, interest free for 90 days. Customers currently in the process of obtaining a loan may be eligible to receive an additional 30-day rate lock at no additional cost. Customers in need of financial assistance are encouraged to visit their local Bank branch or call the Bank’s Communication Center at (866) 372-1200.
