HONOLULU, Jan. 29, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Hawaiian, Inc. (NASDAQ: FHB) (the “Company”) today announced
that an affiliate of BNP Paribas intends to offer approximately 24.9 million shares of the Company’s common stock in an
underwritten public offering. Following completion of the public offering, it is expected that BNP Paribas will have fully
exited its approximately 18.4% stake in the Company’s common stock.
The Company will not be issuing any shares in connection with the offering and will not receive any proceeds
from the offering. The proposed offering will not change the number of shares of the Company’s common stock that are currently
outstanding.
J.P. Morgan is acting as underwriter for the proposed offering.
