Siyata Mobile to Supply Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) with In-Vehicle Cellular Devices and Accessories

SYTA

MONTREAL, Feb. 19, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Siyata Mobile Inc. (the "Company" or "Siyata") (TSX-V:SIM / OTCQX:SYATF) is pleased to announce it is supplying various departments of the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) in the Atlantic region of Canada, with its UCP100 in-vehicle cellular device and accessories.

The UCP100 is the Company’s first 3G in-vehicle cellular device made available in 2013 through cellular carriers and distributors in Israel and has since expanded into additional markets including Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada amongst others.  Over 200,000 UCP100 phones have been installed in vehicles across many industry verticals and it continues to be the “device-of-choice” for distributors and carriers in its existing markets when responding to a tender or RFP requiring in-vehicle cellular voice coverage.

Marc Seelenfreund, CEO of Siyata Mobile states, “Over $65M in sales of our 3G portfolio demonstrates, we are a highly trusted enterprise solution for First Responders, Government Agencies, and commercial fleets around the world. Only this customer experience is allowing us to leverage our technology and industry relationships to launch the next generation 4G/LTE in-vehicle smartphone with Tier 1 carriers in North America.  This opens up an additional revenue stream in a target market thirty times the size of our existing sales channels and we are excited for the resulting value it will create for our industry partners and shareholders.”

The Company is rolling out its innovative 4G/LTE Uniden® UV350 in-vehicle smartphone in Canada through BELL Mobility and two Tier 1 cellular carriers in the United States. It has initiated trials with multiple end-use, large-scale customers in various industry verticals and has agreements with Ingram Micro and CNM Wireless in preparation for distribution and logistics requirements upon launch.

The UV350, with its carrier-grade integration of Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) software, is the only dedicated in-vehicle smartphone available in the world and is advancing carrier launch of the UV350 in additional geographical markets outside of North America.

According to the United States Department of Transportation, in 2016 there were 9.7 million commercial trucks and 3.5 million first responder vehicles in the United States. Siyata is the first and only company to offer a dedicated in-vehicle cellular solution for the next generation of fleet communication in North America.
