Spectra7 to Showcase Data Center Products at OFC

Highlighting Market Adoption of Active Copper Interconnects

Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (TSX:SEV) (“Spectra7” or the “Company”), a leading provider of high-performance analog semiconductor products for broadband connectivity markets, announced that it will be showcasing its innovative GaugeChanger^TM technology for data center Active Copper Cables (ACCs) at the Optical Networking and Communications Conference & Exhibition (OFC) in San Diego, CA running from March 5^th though the 7^th, 2019.

"We've seen a fantastic response for our active copper cable technology, especially in the hyperscale data center market," said Spectra7's CEO Raouf Halim. "With the buildout of these data centers accelerating, we believe OFC 2019 is the perfect venue to highlight our new technologies. GaugeChanger^TM is an innovative and disruptive technology that allows copper to extend much longer lengths without the cost and power penalty of optics. It works equally well at 25 Gbps NRZ and 50 Gbps PAM-4 enabling new connector standards of 100, 200 and 400 Gbps.
