Governor of Gangwon, Korea, Mr. Choi Moon-Soon, host Governor of the 2018 Olympics, delivers welcome address to delegates of PyeongChang Forum 2019 as an ARHT Media Hologram

ARHTQ

TORONTO, March 06, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ARHT Media Inc. (“ARHT” or the “Company”) (TSXV:ART), the global leader in the development, production and distribution of high quality hologram content through its patented Holographic Telepresence technology, announces that on February 13, 2019 the Company presented the host of the PyeongChang Forum 2019, the Governor of Gangwon, Mr. Choi Moon-Soon, as an ARHT Media hologram to give his welcome address.

PyeongChang Forum 2019 was the second edition of a large global forum launched last year to carry on the values and meanings of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics in South Korea.  The Forum brought together about 1,000 participants – including Korean and international scholars, UN and NGO officials and members of the general public -- under the slogan of “At the Limit of Our Knowledge, Staring into the Future.”

“We are proud to have been selected by the Government of Gangwon, the host Governor of the 2018 Olympics, for this prestigious event,” commented ARHT CEO Larry O’Reilly.  “This was the second international event within days of one another where the conference host used ARHT Media’s technology as a means to illustrate an image of the future, following the Crown Prince of Dubai’s address to the World Government Summit in Dubai two days earlier.”

“Our Asia business is starting to hit it’s stride with the number of events and related revenue up significantly versus the same time last year,” stated ARHT Asia GM Lincoln Cheung, “This year we've delivered our first events in Indonesia, Philippines, and now Korea.  We are already building on this momentum and expect a record year in the region.”
