OEC

HOUSTON

Orion Engineered Carbons S.A. (NYSE: OEC) (the “Company“ or “Orion”), a worldwide supplier of specialty and high-performance Carbon Black, today announced the Company is set to join the broad-market Russell 3000® Index at the conclusion of the 2019 Russell indexes annual reconstitution, effective after the U.S. market opens on July 1, 2019, according to a preliminary list of additions posted June 7, 2019.

Annual Russell indexes reconstitution captures the 4,000 largest U.S. stocks as of May 10, 2019 ranking them by total market capitalization. Membership in the U.S. all-cap Russell 3000® Index, which remains in place for one year, means for Orion also automatic inclusion in the small-cap Russell 2000® Index as well as the appropriate growth and value style indexes. “We are very pleased that Orion will become a member of the Russell indexes when the U.S. market opens in July,” said Corning Painter, CEO of the Company. “I would like to thank our financial team for all the work behind this milestone including converting to a U.S. Dollar based reporting currency from one based on Euros as well as adopting US GAAP. We remain focused on creating value for our shareholders.”
