MONTREAL, March 4, 2020 /CNW/ - TD Bank Group and WEConnect International are working together in 2020 in seven cities in the province of Quebec on a exclusive program aimed at assisting women business owners to enter large supply chains by leveraging supplier diversity programs and certification. In addition, participants will learn about growth strategies and how to access and engage with corporate buyers. The program is part of TD's commitment to facilitate the success and growth of women entrepreneurs.
With only one per cent of corporate and government spend worldwide going to women-owned businesses, it is a critical time to economically empower women entrepreneurs. TD and WEConnect International, along with program delivery partner, Le Réseau des Femmes D'Affaires du Quebec, will offer this exclusive workshop during the year. Participants in the program will also receive 20 hours of complimentary consulting services from Inno-Centre.
Women entrepreneurs in the province of Quebec who are seeking to do business with global supply chains and on a path to grow their B2B business are invited to contact WEConnect International for more details about the program. Applications to participate in the program are open to majority women-owned businesses. The locations include: Brossard, Laval, Drummondville, Quebec City, West Island, Montreal East and Downtown Montreal between March 26, 2020 and November 26, 2020.
