Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - November 8, 2021) - BlockMint Technologies Inc. (TSXV: BKMT) ("BlockMint" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has acquired fifty new S19 Antminers to be installed at a third party hosting facility in Washington state. The hosting facility is powered by clean, low cost hydro-sourced power. It is anticipated that the operation will commence producing bitcoin ("BTC") by year-end. The hosting facility has spare capacity to accommodate additional cryptocurrency mining rigs.
BlockMint's CEO, Nelson Ijih, commented: "This is a major milestone for the Company. We have intentionally started small with a view toward scaling our cryptocurrency operations subject to performance and market conditions. We view this expansion as complimentary to our existing mining operations including the Minter browser which allows users to mine cryptocurrency to earn carbon credits or fractional interests in a NFT."
