RiverNorth/DoubleLine Strategic Opportunity Fund, Inc. Prices Series B Preferred Stock Offering

RiverNorth/DoubleLine Strategic Opportunity Fund, Inc. (the “Fund”) (NYSE: OPP) today announced that it has priced an underwritten public offering of 2,400,000 shares of 4.75% Series B Cumulative Preferred Stock (the “Series B Preferred Stock”) at a public offering price of $25 per share, which will result in net proceeds to the Fund of approximately $58.1 million after payment of underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by the Fund.

The Fund has applied to list the Series B Preferred Stock on the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) under the ticker symbol “OPPPRB.” If the application is approved, trading on the NYSE in the Series B Preferred Stock is expected to begin within 30 days following the issuance date of the Series B Preferred Stock. The Fund plans to use the net proceeds from the offering of the Series B Preferred Stock to repay borrowings under the Fund’s credit facility and for general working capital purposes.

The offering is expected to close on November 22, 2021, subject to customary closing conditions.

UBS Securities LLC and RBC Capital Markets, LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
