(CSE: SNA) (CSE: SNA.CN) ("Star" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the signing of a Letter of Intent ("LOI") with Astral Aviation ("Astral") of Kenya to purchase seven (7) units of the STAR-ISMS® for its fleet of cargo aircraft.
Astral is a member of Africa Airlines ("AFRAA"), The International Air Cargo Association ("TIACA") and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry ("KNCCI").
Astral is a licensed cargo airline that has been flying in Africa for 22 years. It provides reliable and cost-effective air-freight solutions using a combination of schedule and charter flights within its Intra-African, Middle East, Asian and European Network.
Astral operates a fleet of F27, DC9F, B727-200F, B757F, B767-200Fand B747-400F aircraft within its geographic area which is comprised of 50 destinations. It operates a combination of scheduled and ad-hoc charters along with value-added leasing services and has agreements with over 30 Interline Partners along with preferential agreements with the leading global and local freight forwarders. It also has partnerships with over 25 global GSA's, facilitate the consolidation of cargoes at the freighter-friendly Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Kenya), Johannesburg (South Africa), Dubai (UAE) and Liege Airport (Belgium).
