Home Capital Declares Common Share Dividend

Home Capital Group Inc. (“Home Capital” or “the Company”) (TSX: HCG) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a common share dividend of $0.15 per share for the third quarter 2023. The dividend is payable on September 15, 2023, to shareholders of record on August 31, 2023. The dividend is designated as an “eligible” dividend for the purposes of the Income Tax Act (Canada) and any similar provincial legislation. If the previously announced acquisition of Home Capital by a wholly owned subsidiary of Smith Financial Corporation is completed on or prior to August 31, 2023 record date, shareholders will not be paid the dividend.
