Bowman Adds Sharif Abou-Sabh, PE, to Expand National Transportation Program Management Initiative

(the “Company” or “Bowman”) (NASDAQ: BWMN), a national engineering services firm delivering infrastructure solutions to customers who own, develop and maintain the built environment, is pleased to announce the addition of Sharif Abou-Sabh, PE, as senior vice president and director of the Company’s expanding national transportation program management practice.

Consistent with his prior experience, Mr. Abou-Sabh will focus on securing large-scale program management assignments from state transportation authorities, principally in connection with funding substantially provided under the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA).

Nationally recognized for his ability to build client relationships and manage billion-dollar projects, Mr. Abou-Sabh will play a pivotal role in advancing and expanding Bowman’s transportation practice nationwide. Over the course of his distinguished career, Mr. Abou-Sabh has managed large-scale transportation projects for operators of highway, rail, airport and transit systems throughout the United States.

Most recently, Sharif directed the program management operation for phase II of the Valley Transportation Authority’s $12.1 billion BART Silicon Valley project, which includes a 5-mile, 55 ft diameter tunnel under downtown San Jose, California.
