Wells Elementary School in Nashville today with new shoes from Nashville-based footwear focused retailer in celebration of its 100th anniversary. Genesco partnered with Nashville-based, global nonprofit Soles4Souls, to surprise the elementary school students with brand new shoes, socks and snacks before hitting the red carpet to snap a photo. In its 35th year, Cold Feet, Warm Shoes recreates a real-life, in-store experience, complete with a mock shoe store, customized shoe fitting where employee volunteers measure each student’s foot and fit them with a new pair of shoes and socks.
