Highlights of progress described in the report include:
- 33 million pounds of recycled or reused materials incorporated into Kaytee Small Animal bedding
- 100 million gallons of water use avoided through utilizing drip irrigation systems at outdoor perennial farms compared to using traditional sprinkler irrigation
- 19 metric tons of greenhouse gases saved by compressing Wee Wee® training pads resulting in 12% less container space
- $1.5 million in monetary and product donations to communities and charitable organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Best Friends and local schools and hospitals across the country
- 22% reduction in safety incidents in fiscal 2022 and 20% in fiscal 2023 due to improved safety measures
