Strathmore Plus Uranium (SUU) has begun the permitting process to advance its Night Owl Project.

The Wyoming-based uranium project will soon begin its journey toward production once ongoing agency, subcontractor and personnel solicitations are finalized.

Baseline studies to be performed on the property include but are not limited to radiological and chemical soil sampling, air quality sampling, groundwater sampling and monitoring, transportation and topsoil surveys, as well as labour and community relations assessments.

Exploration drilling is planned for this summer at the original Night Owl mine, in addition to several new areas defined by the company’s October 2022 airborne radiometric and magnetic survey. A geophysical survey is slated for completion in the spring.

“We have good and cooperative neighbours and a very favourable permitting environment in Wyoming. I anticipate a rewarding exploration program and a straightforward permitting process with an uninterrupted schedule,” stated John DeJoia, Strathmore’s Technical Advisor.

“With the grades (up to about 0.384 per cent uranium oxide) of mineralization sampled this past summer and fall, and the large areas of high surface radiometric material identified by the airborne survey in fall 2022, I envision this type of project lending itself towards a heap leaching recovery-style operation,” he added.

Strathmore is focused on exploring three uranium projects in Wyoming.

Strathmore Plus Uranium (SUU) is up by 5.77 per cent, trading at $0.55 per share as of 10:07 am EST.
