Strathmore (SUU) has closed a private placement for gross proceeds of $2 million.
The company issued 5,000,000 units at a price of $0.40. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant is exercisable into one common share priced at $0.50 for 2 years.
Certain Strathmore insiders acquired 1,000,000 units.
All securities issued will be subject to a statutory four-month hold period.
Net proceeds will be used to fund ongoing exploration at its Night Owl and Agate projects, as well as for general working capital.
