Kraken Energy’s (UUSA) Apex Property recently completed a magnetic airborne geophysical survey.
On site, pyrite and chalcopyrite which are associated with uranium mineralization on the property was found.
Also among some of the discoveries were conductive anomalies with known uranium mineralization.
Some of the highest-grade uranium at the Apex Mine has been found with graphitic and pyritic shales near the intrusive contact.
The survey was carried out by Geotech. The company collected both time-domain electromagnetic and magnetic data on 100 meter spaced lines.
“Our team’s understanding of the entire Apex Property has taken a remarkable leap forward, and we are excited to test these new targets as we continue to advance the drill permitting process with the US Forest Service,” stated CEO Matthew Schwab.
