Customers of Toronto Dominion Bank (TSX:TD) woke up Friday morning without their scheduled paycheques deposited into their accounts.
The Canadian bank responded to Twitter replies indicating it has been “made aware of” problems related to direct deposits.
In another reply, TD Bank stated it is mostly customers in the western and eastern regions being affected and that they should continue to check on their bank accounts.
“Our support teams are engaged and investigating the issue,” TD Canada said on its Twitter account, @TD_Canada. “Please continue to monitor your accounts.”
The bank had not provided a timeline for when the issues will be resolved.
Shares of TD Bank (T.TD) are down 0.025 per cent to C$80.56 as of 11:43 a.m. ET.
