Cullinan Metals (CSE:CMT) has officially begun its initial exploration programs at its newly acquired Ontario and Quebec lithium properties.

In a news release, the Vancouver company stated that under recent letters of intent, it will acquire 100 per cent interest in a series of highly prospective lithium mineral properties after preliminary sampling and exploration work.

“We are excited to initiate exploration at our Ontario and Quebec properties. With so many previous discoveries made in the areas near our properties, we are optimistic that Phase One Exploration will return an excellent outcome for our shareholders,” Marc Enright-Morin, CEO of Cullinan Metals, said in a statement.

In Ontario, the properties include Dory – Aerial Lake, East Haig, West Haig, Flower Fall and Flash Lake properties.

The Quebec properties are in the James Bay area where several new lithium discoveries have been made alongside the historical deposits, as well as in the Val d’Or region.

Cullinan Metals is focused on the development of energy metals, including copper, graphite and lithium assets.

Shares of Cullinan Metals are unchanged at C$0.30.
