Arbor Metals (TSXV:ABR) has identified new pegmatite outcrops on its flagship Jarnet lithium project in Quebec.
Jarnet is composed of 47 map-designated claims over 3,759 hectares in the James Bay region of Quebec. The project is contiguous to Patriot Battery Metals‘ (TSXV:PMET) Corvette-FCI property, home to one of the most promising lithium discoveries in recent history.
The prospective Jarnet discovery was made in the north section of the project, in close proximity to standout samples from previous exploration programs. Arbor’s team will allocate increased resources to thoroughly understand these pegmatites through sampling, exploration and laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy to refine and pinpoint drill targets.
“We are incredibly excited about identifying these pegmatite outcrops in our Jarnet project,” Mark Ferguson, president and CEO of Arbor Metals, said in a statement. “This development holds the potential to significantly impact both our current exploration program and the overall prospects of the Jarnet lithium project. Our team’s dedication and skill in making these discoveries are commendable.”
The news follows the company’s strategic focus on increasing its presence in the electric vehicle industry, as well as the hiring of a strategic consultant to increase government support for Canadian miners.
