- Pan American Energy (CSE:PNRG) has notched an exploration permit for its Big Mack Lithium Project in Ontario

Pan American Energy (CSE:PNRG) has notched an exploration permit for its Big Mack Lithium Project in Ontario.
In a news release, the Calgary-based company stated it received the permit from the Ontario Ministry of Mines and is now fully funded for 5,000 metres of diamond core drilling.
Pan American Energy stated drilling is expected to begin in November after the identification of several high-priority targets done from field sampling and geophysical work earlier this year.
“We are thrilled to have received this exploration permit from the Ontario Ministry of Mines and look forward to getting to work in the coming weeks,” Jason Latkowcer, CEO of Pan American Energy, said in a statement. “The previous work on the property has allowed us to refine our drill targeting. We have identified some incredible targets in the program design.”
Project highlights include:
- More than 20 pegmatites have been identified across the property with three priority targets – Big Mack, Eleven Zone and Sprinkler/6059
- The company has completed a magnetic survey, LiDAR survey and prospecting program with multiple high-priority targets identified
- The property is adjacent to Avalon Advanced Material’s flagship joint venture project, the Big Whopper
