Noble Mineral Exploration (TSXV:NOB) has begun an AirTEM airborne magnetic-electromagnetic survey north of Havre St Pierre in Québec.
The helicopter-borne, AirTEM, Time Domain EM and Magnetic surveys will cover on 188 claims (101.5 square kilometres) of ground in the vicinity of the HSP Nickel Copper Platinum Group Project under Go Metals Corp. (CSE: GOCO). The survey will consist of 456 line-kms to cover 18 km of prospective contact of the Havre St Pierre Anorthositic Complex where Go Metals discovered wide intervals of nickel and copper sulphides. The surveys will strike length.
The Noble claims cover the Havre St. Pierre Anorthositic Complex, which contains known nickel, copper and platinum group element (PGE) mineralization. The claims cover magnetic features similar to the HSP Nickel-Copper discovery.
The Toronto-based miner said the electromagnetic survey will identify additional prospective targets for further investigation. Future work will include evaluation of the airborne survey and ground follow-up that will include trenching and diamond drilling of identified targets.
