Arbor Metals (TSXV:ABR), a top-performing penny stock, is revealing promising assays from its fall 2023 prospecting program at the Jarnet lithium project in Quebec.

Jarnet is made up of 47 map-designated claims covering 3,759 ha, and is only 2.5 kilometres from Patriot Battery Metals’ (TSXV:PMET) Corvette property, which houses one of the 10 largest lithium pegmatite resources in the world.

Arbor collected 77 rock samples, including 46 oriented channels totaling 41 metres, as well as another 31 chip samples, confirming that Jarnet is host to lithium-enriched pegmatites and warrants systematic geochemical and geophysical exploration.

The Central Block, in particular, shows signs of an extensive pegmatite field, including 1- to 3-metre wide pegmatite outcrops associated with large boulder fields, with additional pegmatites identified farther south.

The highest-grading sample in the program, #351593, yielded 88 ppm lithium from a metric boulder on the South Block. All other samples averaged 16 ppm lithium with local spikes in cesium (33.8 ppm in sample 267121) and tantalum (55.3 ppm in sample 267122). Samples show moderate rubidium enrichment averaging 338 ppm.

“The results from our fall 2023 exploration program are truly exciting,” Mark Ferguson, president of Arbor Metals, said in a statement. “We’ve gained valuable insights into the formation of lithium mineralization on the Jarnet lithium project, laying a strong foundation for future exploration endeavours. Our commitment to responsible and informed exploration continues to drive our pursuit of discovering a significant lithium resource.”

Arbor expects to release details about its 2024 exploration program in the near future, following strategic moves to build new relationships with government and the electric vehicle industry and pave the way for revenue generation.

Arbor Metals is a mineral explorer developing high-value, geographically significant projects worldwide.

Arbor Metals stock (TSXV:ABR) last traded at C$0.68 per share. The stock has tumbled by 73.64 per cent year-over-year, but has gained 1,600 per cent since 2019.
