Hertz Energy (CSE:HZ) has revealed its plans to begin the inaugural exploration program at the Snake Lithium Property in Quebec.

In a news release, the company stated the exploration program will see the first focused lithium exploration program on the property to date.

“Having one of the best geological teams in Quebec and a strong balance sheet, which fully funds both the surface exploration and drill programs in 2024, puts Hertz in a strong position,” Kal Malhi, CEO of Hertz Energy, said in a statement.

It is expected the exploration program will begin on June 20 and will include three to four weeks of geological prospecting, rock sampling and mapping in addition to property-wide orthophoto survey and interpretation.

Additionally, the company also stated it plans to restructure its uranium exploration projects into a new entity that will be uranium-focused, called Hertz Uranium.

With its headquarters out of Vancouver, Hertz Energy is a junior exploration company focused on the acquisition and exploration of energy metals and mineral properties.

Its lithium exploration projects include the Lucky Mica Lithium Project, the AC/DC Lithium Project, and the Patriota Lithium Project. Meanwhile, the company’s uranium projects include the Cominco Uranium Project located in Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut, Canada and its recent applications for exclusive prospecting licenses in Namibia.

Shares of Hertz Energy Inc. (CSE:HZ) are up 3.57 per cent to C$0.14.
