Hologram technology stock ARHT Media (TSXV:ART) is collaborating with XMC, a Toronto-based experiential marketing agency, on a holographic experience for a leading brand centred on the Paris Olympic Games.

From late July through the end of the games on Aug. 11, employees at the brand’s Ontario-based headquarters will be able to interact with life-sized holograms of top Canadian athletes competing in Paris through an interactive kiosk.

The client views the installation as a testament to its commitment to “enhancing employee engagement” and demonstrating how technology can “bridge geographical distances, bringing people closer together in remarkable ways,” according to Tuesday’s news release.

ARHT has posted increasing net income losses since 2019 and doesn’t look much better over the past five quarters. That said, management has fostered shareholder value through growth, increasing revenue by about 50 per cent and gross profitability from 42 to 55 per cent since 2019, making the stock a growth story to watch for signs of further momentum.

Leadership insights

“We’re thrilled to bring this activation to life, showcasing some of Canada’s best athletes through life-sized holograms to our client’s employees,” Larry O’Reilly, ARHT Media’s chief executive officer, said in a statement. “The technology fosters meaningful connections and memorable experiences, enhancing engagement even when physical presence isn’t possible. We’re honoured to support our client in this innovative endeavor.”
