Tilray Brands (TSX:TLRY) unveiled new hemp-derived Delta-9 THC beverages coming to key markets across the United States.

Through its new Tilray Alternative Beverages business unit, the company’s lineup of drinks includes mocktails, seltzers and sparkling drinks made with hemp extracts and “ingredients that provide consumers with a familiar, convenient, and delicious way to relax and unwind.”

Tilray’s inaugural wave includes 420 Fizz, Herb & Bloom, Fizzy Jane’s and Happy Flower, each with 5mg hemp-derived Delta-9 THC per can.

In a news release, the company explained it has been seeking out the growing hemp-derived beverage category in the U.S. market with a “consumer-centric” model that targets different occasions across various consumer audiences and price segments. In a little more than two years, more than 100 hemp-derived delta-9 products have become available online, according to a CBD Oracle study. Tilray has been ramping up its beverage business since acquiring Truss Beverage from Molson Coors (TSX:TPX.A)earlier this year.

The new drinks roll out to markets beginning in October 2024 with more beverages planned to ship later this year.

Tilray is a global cannabis and consumer packaged goods company managing more than 20 brands in more than 20 countries, including Broken Coast, Redecan and Good Supply.

Tilray stock (TSX:TLRY) last traded at C$2.31 per share. The stock has given back 26.52 per cent since the year began, but has grown 4.32 per cent over the past three months.
