GameSquare (NDAQ:GAME) is launching four official games on Fortnite in partnership with Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants.
Zoned – a full-service marketing agency under GameSquare – collaborated with Alliance Studios and IP owner Paramount Game Studios to create immersive island-based experiences that integrate Bikini Bottom’s charm with Fortnite’s emphasis on compelling gameplay. Here’s a breakdown:
- SpongeBob Red vs Blue is a round-based combat game where players face off using jelly blasters to eliminate competitors.
- Bikini Bottom Prop Hunt is a hide-and-seek game where hiders morph into everyday objects.
- SpongeBob Slap Fight challenges players to dodge opponents and karate chop them off the map while collecting Krabby Patties to earn extra points.
- Bikini Bottom Only Up allows players to parkour through obstacle courses decorated with Bikini Bottom landmarks.
