In the past week, the U.S. stock market hit a turning point and the S&P 500 has been on a real climb, reaching the 4,300 benchmark for the first time since August 2022. Its rally ended the bear market that began in January of last year, achieving 20 per cent growth since its low in October 2022.

We are now in another bull market and that means you’ll be seeing the word “bullish” a lot as it is an investor’s favourite adjective. Now let’s take a look at who’s making the most of this new sentiment.

BlackBerry IVY was designed to help automakers reduce their cloud data storage costs by up to 97 per cent. BlackBerry and Upstream expect to deliver significant data connectivity savings of up to 80 per cent while expanding cybersecurity protection coverage by pre-processing vehicle data at the edge across multiple systems.

These companies believe that they can provide automakers with coverage and mitigate attacks while reducing cloud costs to help ensure vehicle fleets are protected amidst an industry landscape that has seen a rise in cyberattacks targeting both vehicles themselves and the broader smart transportation infrastructure to which they connect.
