Junior venture mining partners American Creek Resources (TSXV:AMK, Forum) and Tudor Gold (TSXV:TUD, Forum) have provided an update on ongoing metallurgical testwork on the Goldstorm gold, copper, and silver deposit at the Treaty Creek Project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle. Highlights from the testing on the Lower CS-600 Sub-Domain include:
- Flotation recoveries of up to 88.1 per cent copper, 63.8 per cent gold, and 51.3 per cent silver.
- Production of a high-grade copper concentrate exceeding 29 per cent copper, with significant gold and silver grades of 33 g/t and 96 g/t, respectively.
The flotation program uses a typical copper flowsheet to produce the saleable concentrate, with ongoing testwork to produce a separate pyrite concentrate containing gold and silver. These positive results, along with previous oxidative leaching methods, support high gold recoveries for the Lower CS-600 domain. The testing program is designed to support a future preliminary economic assessment.
The 300H and DS5 gold-dominant domains have shown high gold recoveries from previous tests, exceeding 94 per cent for the Albion process and 98 per cent for pressure oxidation tests. The goal for the Treaty Creek Deposit is to produce at least 500,000 AuEQ ounces per year, with ongoing tests to optimize the mineral processing for advancing the project.
Investors should keep a close eye on these developments and continue to follow news updates as part of their due diligence. Staying informed about market trends and company milestones is crucial for making well-informed investment decisions.
