Plus: Ivanhoe Mines, Stellar Diamonds, Freegold Ventures, Angkor Gold

VANCOUVER, Canada -- Those who own Ivanhoe Mines, or Platinum Group Metals (TSX:T.PTM, Stock Forum), or Turquoise Hill (TSX:T.TRQ, Stock Forum), or even, bless me Father, even unrelated (except for master ownership) Ivanhoe Energy (TSX:T.IE, Stock Forum), or les metals platinum, palladium, nickel, copper, zinc or gold, likely will read Tommy Humphrey's profile of Ivanhoe Mines' (TSX:T.IVN, Stock Forum) properties in Africa.

Mr. Humphreys spent 20 percent of his 2014 yearly nut ($) going to see Ivanhoe's three flagship properties in Africa.

Ivanhoe Mines' Challenges & Pursuits

A site visit and profile of Robert Friedland and Ivanhoe Mines (TSX:IVN and USA: IVPAF). We toured with the mine developer last week in South Africa and D.R. Congo.

Here's the link: Ivanhoe Mines

I just got off the rhino-horn with Mr. Humphreys. The CEO.ca publisher and I are also gathering more information about Ivanhoe Mines' little publicized holding: gold exploration in the République Gabonaise, or Gabon.

I own more than 100,000 IVPAF shares.

Stellar Diamonds: On this Canada (except for British Columbia) and USA holiday, I snagged at long last another 123,000 shares of Stellar Diamonds, my Sierra Leone and Guinea diamonds prospector. The order went through on London's AIM at 1.8 pence per share -- some 23 percent higher than a week ago. I now own almost 500,000 shares.

As four or three of you recall, I was over at Karl Smithson's Stellar property at Tongo in Sierra Leone a few years ago. I know. Fourteen of you are going to say I am shining on like a crazy crystal, but this is the ONE global diamond mine developer with a fundamental shot at steady production of high-quality stones in the next 18 months. Just read the releases and look at the 10-day trading chart.

Based on what's in the diamond kitty right now from Tongo's pipes, Stellar (STEL on AIM and SDIZF in USA) appears to be fair value at approximately 50 GBP ($75 million market cap) vs. its current 10 GBP. Talk to TCR in three months on this one, but by then you either will have bought some this week or will be chasing the stellar constellation lining up in those west Africa skies.

I own it, naturally, and so does money manager Luca Bechis at LB International in South Africa and others with chalked diamonds on the soles of their (shoes).

Those who know such technical stuff will tell you, after viewing the 10-day and 30-day charts, that the only pullback on Stellar Diamonds already occurred: today/Monday: to 1.75p from last week's 1.9p high. If I have that wrong, and you are first (or second) to call me on it in a phoner, a text, Skype, a chat or an e-mail, you get one year of TCR for free. That's a $101 savings.

Finally: Just off the other horn with J. Kristina Walcott, who runs Freegold Ventures (TSX:T.FVL, Stock Forum), an Alaska gold mine developer. She has relevant things to say about the current financing market for juniors and her Alaska state of mind. More soon.
