Hits: NexGen, BioCryst, Stellar Diamonds, Atico Mining, Paramount Gold & Silver

Recovering commodities equities are lifting (or were when I transcribed this) these TCR targets:
NexGen (uranium)
BioCryst (bio-pharma) (NASDAQ:BCRX, Stock Forum)
Stellar Diamonds (Sierra Leone)
Atico Mining (Colombia) (TSX:V.ATY, Stock Forum)
Paramount Gold & Silver (Mexico and Nevada) (TSX:T.PVG, Stock Forum)
Gran Colombia Gold (albeit from depressed levels) (TSX:T.GCM, Stock Forum)

Also: Inovio (bio-pharma) and Colombian Mines.

Atico and Gran Colombia Gold are two of the TCR 8. I no longer own any Inovio (NYSE-MKT:INO, Stock Forum), whose drug discovery methods and Seeking Alpha coverage are flogging short-sellers of INO. I sold most of my Paramount Gold & Silver this week because: 1. it had a nice run, as much as 40 percent off its recent lows; and 2. I needed funds to purchase more Stellar Diamonds (STEL in London).

I do not own any NexGen Energy (TSX:V.NXE, Stock Forum), whose Athabasca Basin digging yielded sturdy U308 results this week, after its principals suggested I purchase the stock a few weeks ago. I did not and the price then was right: 60 percent less expensive.

At least NexGen's principals and stakeholders are members of the TCR family, a pitch we have Tommy Humphreys at CEO.ca to thank. Peter Kennedy at Stockhouse is working that story.

Our wait-and-sees: Prophecy Coal (TSX:V.PCY, Stock Forum) is at 9 cents Canadian and will get the once-over from TCR, whose hip hobbled editor and researcher (that is me) will visit this weekend and into next week: Mongolia and the Russia border. Those are thermal coal at Ulaan Ovoo and Chandanga. This is John Lee's Prophecy Coal, which is in production yet must show it can cheaply transport coal into Russia and possibly China. I do not see the shares here as a BUY yet, as PCY is preparing its quarterly statement, which could show further losses.

Yet I believe Prophecy Coal might be on the cusp as Mr. Lee and his Mau Capital negotiate trial runs of coal into Russia from northern and central Mongolia. I might purchase some after this article is published. I also will try (no promises) to see if any of the Turquoise Hill folks are in Ulan Bator; that company now operates Oyu Tolgoi, formerly an Ivanhoe Mines copper and gold development.

Turquoise Hill shares (TSX:T.TRQ, Stock Forum) are mired in a yurt's blech! of legal, financing and government issues.

Ivanhoe Mines (TSX:T.IVN, Stock Forum) did get a 6-cent nudge this week; I expect more in coming days as word circulates the company might -- I repeat, might -- have the madre of all gold deposits stuck near some national park in the Republic of Gabon -- Africa. This is speculation on my part.

Worthy of purchase: Stellar Diamonds at 2.8 cents USD and Colombian Mines (TSX:V.CMJ, Stock Forum) at 40 cents Canadian.
