My Mekong’s Budding Delta
PHNOM PENH --We are just past rainy season here in the Kingdom? of Cambodia?. Color, color and
more color.
(Image here from riverside? Phnom Penh?.)
?
?Our rainy season in natural resources is giving way to sunshine, at least since early November.
?
TCR audience, about 10 percent of our almost 1,000 subscribers are signed onto the notion that the
resource bottom is? ?in like a pin. To borrow a comment that a friend of ours, a retired gold equities analyst known the world over, NEVER said ...but you get the idea: "Ïf this is not the bottom, does it matter? We're close enough."
The point ? is that we have action, if not ?ignition.
For example?,? this from Friday on our ?pay service
???TCR Tradables?? for proof:
[Nov. 14, 2014] Worthy Rebounders In Resources: Continental Gold, Calibre Mining, Platinum Group Metals, Central Fund, Eurasian Minerals [CNL, CXB,PTM, CEF.A, EMX-Canada; PLG, EMXX-USA]
Nearly
every one of these TCR Tradables price-pronged higher? the early part of this week?
Profits again? ?After almost four years of rainy season??
?
I for one pray th?is month's ?rocket won't self destruct just at it reaches the outer ozone. Still, as I mention in the note we sent to our
TCR Blips this morning from
Phnom Penh, forecasting is for oracles. We here at
TCR have been EARLY
(BAD WORD) before.
?
Your Beta Is My Mekong Delta
?Did you notice resource equities are actually pricing in good news??
This from Continental Gold (
TSX: CNL,
Stock Forum) on its case for
Buritica in Colombia. Did someone say richest? gold-silver deposit? in Latin America? ?How about the freakin' hemisphere?
An 18-year mine life based on 20 million metric tons grading 7.80 grams per ton gold and 19.35 g/t silver -- or 4,777,000 ounces of recovered gold and 7,088,000 ounces of recovered silver. CNL in Canada. Up smartly thus far this week.? We said it would rebound thickly upon ignition for the resource equities.? It did.
Next case, professor.
Eurasian Minerals (
TSX: V.EMX,
Stock Forum), a project generator, likely received a tail?-?win?d? from the Osisko purchase of Virginia Mines -- two other royalty spinners? unifying?. EMXX in USA and I own it.? Look for Russia events from Eurasian.?
Also benefiting from the
Osisko-Virginia meld is ??
and will beAbitibi Royalties (
TSX: V.RZZ,
Stock Forum) and parent Golden Valley Mines. They both stand to benefit from continued arbitration regarding ??
CHL Malartic adjacent to Osisko's Malartic in
Quebec. I own both RZZ and GZZ.
Mike Weeks of Angkor Gold in a tuk-tuk today. ?
Angkor Gold's ?Mike Weeks ?-- pictured in a
tuk-tuk today in the Cambodia capital -- is the ?former oil-gas ?negotiator and? current mining? exec. who is likely to bring ?us as a group, and me personally: a repeat of the profits I enjoyed with MarketWatch.com, Tencent Holdings, Illumina, Cor Therape?u?tics?. Also: ?year-2000 ?$300-odd ?gold, BioCryst Pharma? and a handful of others?. It is ANK in Canada?.
?
Angkor Gold's (
TSX: V.ANK,
Stock Forum) seven concessions in Cambodia and its joint venture gold mine ?with an India steel maker is ?planned for 2015 production?. Talk in Phnom Penh is that the mining permits from the
Ministry of Mining & Energy could come as soon as the close of the year.
No comment from anyone involved, including Mr. Weeks of Grand Prairie, Alberta. Still, I see the
Phum Syarung gold mine delivering net smelter returns to Angkor Gold in short order. I shall be at the mine site later this week for what will amount to my fourth inspection in less than two years and my sixth visit overall since 2012.
A?ngkor Gold is at the? start of a
SE Asia resources narrative whose next chapter likely will draw international attention. ?Not necessarily from the gold mine, and once again, my own speculation.
?I own the shares, ?and I continue to add more. As does our ?
TCR ?audience does. ?Compelling and necessary "BUY" here for anyone looking for that $25 million squib that will become a $250 million producer, property concessionaire and TCR reckons, holder of other Cambodia resources never yet exploited.
?
Huge buy right here.? For more on the community and social responsibility component of Angkor Gold, please see:

?
NOTES: Carlisle Gold (
TSX: CGJ,
Stock Forum) continues its rise. So too Calibre Mining (
TSX: V.CXB,
Stock Forum). Calibre will reach that 20-cent mark and benefit from Iamgold's (
TSX: IMG,
Stock Forum) resurrection from the equities graveyard. Carlisle is seeing fresh buying in million-share quantities. More developments ahead. CGJ and CXB, respectively, in Canada. ...
Possible resolution on the
Abitibi Royalties front before year-end. My take. ...
Eurasian Minerals might spring some capital Russia news on shareholders in coming days or weeks. Regardless, this is a company whose net smelter returns from Nevada and elsewhere will provide annu?i?ties for decades. ?...
Gwen Prescott in her fresh newsletter ?RESOURCE MAVEN ?provides relevant charting and thoughts? for those who believe as I do that the resource equities guttered, or bottomed, earlier this month of November?. ?
