Polycon Crypto Conference Coming to the Bahamas

The cryptocurrency wave is about to make a splash in the Bahamas at the end of the month.

POLYCON18 is being touted as the world’s first crypto conference dedicated to securities tokens. Joining some of the fastest-growing blockchain companies from around the world, Polycon will bring together big names in blockchain and high finance, along with retail advisors and people with a high net-worth.

There will be more than 30 sessions and panels, along with one on one meetings and a $100k ICO pitch competition.

Ethereum Co-Founder Anthony Di lorio will give the opening keynote presentation on Wednesday, February 28th at 7:50pm. Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne gives his keynote speech on Thursday, March 1 at 9:30pm. Rounding out the convention is BitFury board member Bill Tai, speaking to “Surfing Tech Waves – how we got here, from Silicon to Blockchain” on Friday, March 2, 9:00pm.

Polycon will be co-hosted by two heavyweights specializing in security token issuance platforms. Polymath, a network behind the movement to enable businesses, stocks, bonds, venture capital, and private equity to migrate to adopt blockchain technology.

In a blog post, Polymath says it will unveil a major announcement exclusively for Polycon. The post adds: The event is particularly prescient in the wake of the recent CFTC and SEC Senate Hearing. Discussion about the regulatory implications of tokens makes clear that the era of security tokens is upon us. And Polymath is bringing together the leading minds to move the industry forward.

Consulting, corporate development, and investor relations firm Grit Capital joins Polymath on co-hosting duties.

Also presenting March 1st at 11:20am will be Sothi Thillairajah, CEO of Vancouver-based Block One Capital Inc. (TSX:V.BLOK, OTCQB: BKPPF, Forum). Block One is an investment company focused on blockchain and digital currency mining. It recently acquired 90% of mid-west U.S. crypto mining company TG12 Ventures Inc. This is in addition to its 40% acquisition of New York-based mortgage blockchain company Finzat Block LLC and 40% of London UK-based blockchain tech company OMAAT Ltd.

Polycon is organized by the world’s first blockchain and cryptocurrency event management and marketing agency, Untraceable.

Along with a cabana pool party and a casino night, the forecast calls for sunny skies with highs of 25 degrees Celsius.

The sold-out Polycon runs from Wednesday, February 28th to Saturday, March 3rd 2018 at Baha Mar, Nassau, Bahamas.
