Simplified video conferencing across any device means exceptional usability. Enhanced security settings ensure continuous meeting time, encryption, role-based security and password protection. Introducing Fuzion – providing one integrated user experience

The Company behind this new, state-of-the-art platform is Interface Technologies – a leading, privately-held Managed Information Technology Services Company located in Toronto, Ontario. A full-service provider that covers all the IT needs of small to midsize businesses, Interface Technologies offers over 35 years of experience in the technology industry.

In this lively vodcast, Stockhouse Media’s Dave Jackson was joined by company Founder Lloyd Ainey to talk more about its revolutionary Video Conferencing Platform, Fuzion.

TRANSCRIPT BELOW:

SH: Lloyd, you are now offering a video conferencing platform called ‘Fuzion’. With so many competitors in the market, why did you feel it was important to launch this app?

LA: Well, of course COVID’s come along. We've had this app sitting in the can for awhile and we have used it with our telecom services. As you know, we're a telecom service provider…universally globally…and with COVID coming on and everyone working at home, we decided to make sure that our clients had a product that they could be familiar with that have easy support for an easy integration. Remember, Zoom just sort of zoomed out the gate last year and actually helped make video conferencing famous. So we, we brought it out. It was well accepted by our group and we have everybody communicating by constantly.

SH: What are the main features and benefits of Fuzion?

LA: They're very similar to Zoom. What separates us apart from Zoom and Microsoft's Teams and WebEx, which were first out of the gate, Zoom is sort of a more Johnny come lately and perhaps we are too. Number one, we have all our servers in Canada. So the, the video conferencing calls never goes out of Canada. If you take the option to record your conversation, it stays on our servers in Canada. It doesn't go to the Zoom servers in the US and a lot of people like that as well. We have it on a dedicated 10 gig line. So it's a little better quality service. It's easy to get in touch with us. We're a boutique service. You call you get someone on the phone, you've got a problem we sort it out and get your conference moving as fast as possible.

3. How can it be accessed? Do I need to be an existing client to use it?

LA: You don't need to be as an existing client to use it. We did start out making it as a free service to our existing telecom customers and we now are modifying it so people can come in and register themselves and use it. And we, you know, we we'd like to maybe invite them to be full-time customers of ours using our other services to continue having the free service, particularly if they want to start recording things that does take up space and it has a cost to it.

4. SH: And finally, Lloyd, as a fully managed IT solutions provider, you offer a wide range of products and services. What makes Interface Technologies different from your competitors?

LA: The fact that we're innovative. For example, just this past couple of days, we're working on new scripting to make all desktops and laptops and servers have failed to band built in, and it's a script we're going to. We've written that we'll put into a person's computer. So if someone knocks on the door three times, five times, whatever we send it to they're banned for life or for a long period of time. So we don't have people getting in through RDP, which is remote desktop to bring a ring, a Trojan payload, where they can encrypt all your files and send you a note for ransomware.
