Mat you just about busted my calculator with your numbers. Today gold is about $2650 and silver is in the $30 ramge. So my calculation is thtat the ratio of silver to gold is 2650 / 30 or 88 - 1.  ...more

At the peak of the last precious metals boom in 1980 the ratio had narrowed to 17 The ratio stood between 10:1 and 13.5:1 two thousand,five hundred years ago when silver was far more plentiful to gold ...more
