Insight Public Sector to Provide Net-Centric Products and Support

TEMPE, Ariz., Dec. 18, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Insight Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq:NSIT), a leading worldwide technology provider of hardware, software and service solutions, has announced that Insight Public Sector, a U.S.-based government contracting division of Insight Enterprises, has been awarded a new U.S. Air Force contract for the delivery of net-centric solutions and products.

The Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) contract vehicles provide the U.S. Air Force with a primary source of networking, IT products, services and solutions. The NETCENTS-2 product contract vehicle is one of the seven solution vehicles under the NetCents-2 umbrella. As a named participant under the contract, Insight will have the opportunity to compete to support the U.S. Air Force in the acquisition and deployment of its core networking technologies.

The contract provides products to support the internet protocol network and other NETCENTS-2 solution vehicles, and will include the following categories of networking and other IT products and associated support worldwide: networking equipment, servers/storage, peripherals, multimedia, and identity management/biometric hardware and associated software.
