"Temperatures in the U.S. could rise 3-12 degrees
by the end of the century, and the impact on human life will be brutal.
Extreme heat waves may be here to stay. Is the globe prepared? (usatoday.com)
But the need for up-grading interior environmental controls will become significant over the next 5 years. Not only will heat stress move northward requiring interior modification in localities previously unneeded. Older units designed for more moderate temperatures will prove inadequate while also seeing increased wear requiring additional maintenance.
A disastrous slump in commercial real estate WILL NOT reduce demand below maximum AAON’s production capacity. Retrofitting or replacement of only half today’s current commercial applications of environmental modification will fill factory orders for next decade.
It’s a NEW WORLD in which temperature modification will be as basic and as essential as food. Can’t live without either.
“How much copper is in a 3 ton ac unit? A typical 3 ton ac unit contains about 90 pounds of copper. That’s a lot of metal, and it’s one of the reasons why ac units are so expensive to purchase and maintain.”
