Municipalities seeing HVAC as low hanging fruit for carbon
"The amended plan approved last week commits to meeting the state’s ambitious interim and long-term emissions reductions goals, including the goal of statewide net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Objectives to that end include promoting low- and no-carbon transportation; the use of low- and no-carbon technologies in home and business appliances, lighting, heating and ventilation; promoting carbon sequestration strategies such as planting more trees; and advocating for renewable energy technologies."
