Sold way too cheap. Mathews got the deal of the century. I for one think the combined company will be a Canadian tech giant. With the Shen brothers with Mathews steering the ship. I wouldn't bet against Mitel going forward.

Sold way too cheap. May have, but there is no shame in taking a nice chunk of change off the table :) I wouldn't bet against them either! In some way this probably makes perfect sense.

Technically, a buyout, but this is a merger; it is a bit surprising, and a bit of a lower premium for acquisition, but it does make perfect sense...economies of scale, operational synergies.  The sum is more than the individual companies.  Float will still be tight, high beta, so if she moves, she moves big.  MNW management is exceptional, providing ROA of 27%+ annualized [at the ...more

After a little bit of research I did sell way to early! But the markets are making me a bit nervous so I sold on news. But again making a 70% return in 4 months isn't too shabby so I'm ok with my decision.  Good luck to the retail holders!! The cash machine will continue to produce!
