Jim90 there are hundreds of companies in the space Grafoid focuses on and many labs and universities such as University of Manchester and Rice University and Caltech which would be considered leaders in the field and have hundreds of millions in research grants.   Bottom line Grafoid uses an exfoliation process to separate graphene from graphite as do all of the universities and labs today.  Each have unique processes but these are energy intensive processes typically using heat and chemicals.  ALP is different where they claim they are not separating graphene from graphite at all which makes this news release so incredibly unique.  You are actually comparing apples to oranges.
