youtube site. Search Benzinga and Acreage and get a pretty good update of where Acreage is headed with the new guy Caldini.

I got that he's keeping his eye on the money and if something Acreage has doesn't fit the right side of the balance sheet, it will be gone.

One thing I am getting is that all the potpreneurs in North America are holding back in anticipation of some form of decriminalization or legalization.

In the meantime they are working the angles to go around the rules that are with intentions to get on shelves with their skus through branding deals and such until the deals to deal can kick in.

The problem with these deals they have inked is one of commitment where Canopy can walk from the deal which I guess they threatened to do with Acreage if the terms weren't revisited to where we are now.

Canopy has done the same kind of deals with TER and WANA and they aren't the only ones.  Other Canadian LPs are doing the same kind of deals with US potpreneurs that can happen with some form of legalization which makes me think that the legal beagles are pretty sure that this type of option is valid for International takeovers and partnering.
