I wouldn't put too much
in the frivolous lawsuit by a firm who has to use a bullboard to make the announcement instead of a proper news release! Acreage is beat down and now getting beat up by azzhole lawyers throwing shyt in to the fan. Can you say: ambulance chaser???? The minute Canopy Growth put eyes on Acreage Holdings its intentions were clear that Acreage Holdings is going to be Canopy Growth USA as soon as they figure out the angles to keep Fed interference out of the equation. This is already happening with Branding agreements for Acreage to deliver Canopy Brands to the US consumer. Martha, Biosteel, Tweed, Houseplant and Quatreau are all being worked on to get them on shelves in States that will protect. I haven't seen any Fed action so relying on State protection might be enough to cinch the deal with Canopy and trigger the share swap. Canopy got beat down hard, along with other lps and the US MSOs weren't immune to the downturn either. Acreage is one of the top US MSOs and the "jumpstart" for Canopy to come out swinging in the US. Jmho but Acreage looks like a good buying point subject to the Canopy/Acreage deal coming off as anticipated. The minute that a triggering event is perceived that will bring North American players together, Canopy will be in short supply and could easily rocket back to former high shareprices. Best thing about Acreage is the deal they have with Canopy and the financing that is bankrolling their efforts for domination. The perfect trifecta of STZ, CGC and Acreage Holdings, pack leaders of the greenrush and perfectly positioned for the great American greenrush. glta and dyodd
