96 million are locked up until May 14th, then the float will grow significantly. This can put serious downpressure on a stock, or have little effect at all.  In this case ( i need to do more research , and also thanks for answering my original question :) ) if the price at the time of the unlock is significantly higher, early investors will often cashout some or all. If they believe in the company, it might be taking some profits, if they have doubts, they may sell all their positions over time. This is the potential with a low float stock.
Tilray will be the first example of how this plays out on Jan 15th. Im trying to avoid this kind of selling pressure. Cweb, MMEN, Tru, Cura all have locked up floats right now.
