Worst deal ever....

I get it canopy wants to enter the state's when legal cannabis occurs...so they buy acreage holdings...Why GET ACREAGE at a bargain price? Why not wait till legalization happens and then unload the company if murphy and the boys realy had the interest of shareholders..

Because deals were imminent. Get on or get run over as the saying goes. Canopy is already in the usa through slang and terrascend and hemp. They are in talks with other mso's. So the choice is join the winning team or loose out on the opportunity. Again mso's will not see the types of gains canadian lp's have seen over the past 4 years. Naw you just know f all about actual investing. Canopy has done so well because it was constantly first mover and solidified it position with deals like this. Now acreage has that same support. There is no question of if they will survive, no question on their future position as a leader. All that was in question until today. Bad deal for acreage..no matter how u slice it because they made the deal too soon...they gave up at 1st base instead of hitting the home run.. bad bad bad and its too bad
